If everyone in Seattle grew the same plant.....

Brassica oleracea var. longata
“Walking Stick Kale”/ “Jersey Kale”
I have for a number of years had a dream of starting a new kind of chain letter. A seed chain letter. This terrific plant called a tree kale can be a vertical vegetable garden all by itself. It could fit in the smallest lots. On a balcony. It's delicious collard like leaves can be harvested all winter long in Seattle.
If you would like some seeds, send me your address, and I will send you seeds. Pass them along to someone else, maybe a number of people.
These tree kales have some interesting history. In England their stalks were used as walking sticks. The seeds that I .will give you, if you should ask, came to me from Jimmy Hendrix's aunt, a former neighbor of mine. Now that's some juicy local history!!
Email me your address if you would like some seeds.
